Isn’t it a sunny day.

When rain came down the whole week long

you smiled at me as if there’s nothing wrong

I wandered around on my own little cloud

trying to find a way out

I can recall that old cold night

when I thought of the warmth and the light

I have to admit, I owe a lot to you

you made it all shine through

Walk on the byway,  back where you belong

life is not easy if you ain’t got a song

some may whistle for it, but you found your own way

through darkness I still hear you say:

Isn’t it a sunny day, isn’t it a sunny day
